What is Tokëzim
Tokëzim is an Albanian electronics company building instruments rooted in cultural heritage. Our first instrument, the Isodrone, brings the sacred layered harmonics of Albanian iso-polyphonic singing into a new, playable form. No strings. No keys. Only your hands.

How It Works
The Isodrone reads the movement of your hands through embedded sensors by measuring distance, velocity and touch to help in composing and performing Iso-Polyphonic songs.

The Vision
Iso-polyphony is one of humanity's oldest collective musical traditions, recognised by UNESCO. Tokëzim exists to preserve it, evolve it, and make it accessible. The Isodrone is a vessel for a sound that has echoed through Albanian mountains for centuries.
